IADT's three Victorian-era campus buildings had no reliable record drawings. Bimco scanned all 9,200m² over six site visits and produced a federated as-built model linked to the institute's facilities management system.
Each room is tagged with a unique asset ID, finishes, glazing type and last-inspected date, allowing the FM team to plan refurbishment cycles directly from the model.
The deliverable included staff training on the BIM 360 viewer so non-technical campus staff can navigate the model in a browser.
